The National Days are celebrated with reverence and enthusiasm to foster patriotism and a feeling of oneness in the pupils.
Teacher`s Day
The teachers Day was celebrated by pomp and show. Students organized cultural programme for the teachers. All the teachers were felicitated by the students with special quote on them.
Children`s Day
The Birth Anniversary of our first Prime Minister was celebrated in a grand way with variety of programme organized by the teachers thereby commemorating love and affection for the Chachaji.
DANDIYA NIGHT
Held on 22nd November 2015. It was the First time in the history of Santhome, such an event was held for the parents. It was a wonderful day for the school as all the parents- participants turned up with colourful dandiya costumes and danced on the rhythmic tunes of the songs. It was a tough competition. It saw a huge crowed enjoying the indigenous dance style of Dandiya.
JUBILEE CELEBRATION
The Silver Jubilee of Fr. Thomas Chirayil was celebrated with a solemn thanksgiving holy Eucharist at Santhome on 3rd November 2015 followed by a felicitation programme by the school students. The programme began with a prayer song. The principal Rev. Fr. Binoy Jacob extended a cordial welcome to Fr. Thomas Chirayil and explained how every nook and corner of Santhome recognize him for he is the architect, the pioneer of Santhome school. Fr. Thomas in his message thanked the management, staff and students for arranging a beautiful programme for him.
FUN FAIR2015-16

Christmas celebration
Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful. Christmas is a time to give and forgive.It is celebrated everywhere as a joyous family affair. We too, at school, celebrated Christmas. Our students made this feative season wonderful and colourful by presenting a skit related to the Nativity of Jesus Christ followed by dance and Christmas Carols.
Santa too made a grand entry. He created a happy and pleasant atmosphere by dancing along with the famous song ‘Jingle Bells’. The delight was uncontained especially as he brought out the gifts.
REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
It was the 67th Republic Day Of our nation, India that serves as a model for “Unity in Diversity” The day was enveloped with an atmosphere of utmost zeal, excitement, and patriotism that prevailed all over the country. It was back in 1950, that our voluminous constitution was adopted and enacted with full force. Our school too arranged for a luminous Republic Day celebration. We had a lot of programmes like march past display, patriotic songs and dances and a wonderful declamation of Netaji Subhash Chanra Bose. The patriotic atmosphere filled the hearts of all with pride to be an Indian. Some of the students enlightened our minds with their beautiful paintings and craft works. The Day was made more graceful by the presence of Dr. Sndeep Kulkarani as the Chief Guest. All the Santhomites took with them the values of patriotism and were motivated by the sacrifices of our great leaders. The day ended with patriotism induced in everyone and a desire to get an opportunity to come back on such day to pay tribute to our great nation.
Farewell Party
The campus of Santhome School was beaming with emotions on the 14th of February as another batch was ready to unfold its graceful wings into the new horizon. The Farewell party of 2015-16 commenced with the honorable presence of the principal, staff and students of Class X. Class IX, with their class teacher, had organized various entertainment programmes and games for their seniors. Tears welled up in everyone’s eyes on the inspirational message given by the principal. The programme turned out to be very successful. Santhome fraternity wishes all the best to the outgoing batch 2015-16.
